My client is a global freight operator. Now expanding internationally into Europe and North America. Due to our rapid global expansion, we are recruiting an experienced Business Development Manager to join our exciting team based in Hemel Hempstead. 

Responsibilities:

Are you looking for a step-up role within the freight industry? Do you have a significant amount of experience within Imports/Exports freight? Experience of working for a Freight Forwarder is required.
 

Whilst this organisation is multimodal and offer Air, Sea and Road Freight - your Sea Freight Exports/Imports and Customs knowledge is the driver to be considered for this position.
 

You can either be at managerial level currently or looking for a step up - either way the experience in strategy planning is desirable.
 

You will be able to demonstrate that you will be suited to a role where you will be expected to:

· Bilingual in both English and Chinese is a must 

· Minimum working experience 3 years and over.

· Review and improve processes

· Build relationships internally & externally - especially internally across stakeholders (including overseas branches in China)

· Develop the team in the future

· Be positive and upbeat

· Be technically minded and confident with IT

· Manage your time efficiently & work under pressure

· Must have a clean driving license 

This role is predominantly a managerial role, but understandably you will have times where you are expected to be hands on and operational.
 

Salary & Package

Negotiable depending on experience

25 days Annual Leave + Bank Holidays

Monday – Friday 9.00am -5.00pm (flexibility may be required to support business requirements)
