JOB DESCRIPTION

Job Details:

This role covers the EMEA markets within shared service centre. 

Core responsibilities include Transfer Pricing accounting, Intercompany management & Pan-European centralised process ownership.

Responsibilities:

Transfer Pricing (TP) accounting

· Work closely with Corporate Tax to deliver TP accounting; apply TP framework to ensure EMEA entities are correctly remunerated

· Calculate month end accruals, year-end true-up and distribute post month end service recharge balances

· Continuous process review to drive efficiency on accrual calculations 

· Lead discussions on market changes that may have an impact on TP accounting

· Devise market profit reconciliation files to meet TP documentation and local statutory requirements

· Cashflow forecasting relating to TP transactions

Intercompany management

· Oversee and manage EMEA intercompany accounting and reconciliation process

· Play a key role in supporting the newly launched Blackline reconciliation project 

· Support financial controller to drive efficiency and best practice for Intercompany processes

· Liaise with affiliates to resolve any variances on a timely fashion     

Pan-European centralised tasks

· Drive and take ownership of centralised processes such as Special Shipping and Advertising & Promotion accruals

· Continuous process review to drive improvement

· Seek opportunities in developing excel model to automate tasks across SSC financial accounting team   

Staff management

· Manage and develop one direct report

· Support his/ her professional study schedules 

Audit & SOX

· Work with IAD & KPMG staff to complete audits

· Periodic testing of internal controls in accordance with Hasbro SOX process review Support financial controller to implement remediation plans in line with agreed timetable

Ad Hoc & Others

· Prepare/ review balance sheet reconciliations

· Market financial reporting, corporate tax and VAT returns

· Inventory accounting and reconciliations 

Support EMEA projects and initiatives
 

Qualifications required: 

ACCA / ACA / CIMA qualified
A level Maths or equivalent

Experience required:

Multi-national corporate environment;  

Transfer pricing & global Intercompany process advantageous;

Knowledge and Skills required:

Fluent English;

Good working knowledge of Excel, Word, PowerPoint and Outlook;

Experience in Finance ERP/SAP;

Exposure to US GAAP and SAP;
