JOB DESCRIPTION

Job Details:
 

1. Prepare accounting processing and record all ledger entries in accordance with Full IFRS accepted in Colombia and company policies, including keeping of full set of accounts, ledger posting, bank reconciliation, accounts payables and accounts receivables, preparation of P/L accounts and balance sheet, etc.

2. Communicate with bank, monitor bank accounts changes, acquire bank statement and prepare bank reconciliations.

3. Review received receipts and invoice. Perform vendor qualification check from finance aspects, make sure tax ID, business scope, etc… are in line with its service natures. Ensure payments are made at due date and are compliance with local banking regulations and requirements.

4. Facilitate and ensure tax invoice issuance to client on time and accurate according to local tax regulation.

5. Verify and process monthly payroll. Review and process employee expenses.

6. Timely and accurate prepare monthly, quarterly and annual tax declaration and make payment

7. Perform monthly, quarterly and annual closing and prepare separate and consolidated financial reports accurately and on time.

8. Support required management report to management and headquarter.

9. Support internal, external audit and other projects as required.

10. File finance documents according to local regulation.

11. Execute and run daily office administration to support staffs, including but not limited to attendance management, payroll, travel ticket and hotel reservation, etc.

12. Collected, sorted out, filed and kept all kinds of documents of the company.

13. Other tasks temporarily arranged.

Requirements

1. Over 5-year accountant work experience with minimum 2 years of General Ledger accountant work experience.

2. Experience in preparation of consolidated financial reports is required.

3. Solid knowledge of IFRS, accounting and tax regulation in Colombia are required.

4. Excellent written and speaking skills both in English and Spanish.

5. Work experience in power industry is preferred.
